Week #7, Nov 8th, Runescape

We had to log onto Runescape.com and play; at first I had trouble loading the game and had to do the other Java version to get the game to download; after about 10 minutes I finally got the game downloaded. I am not much of a game player; even though I have boys and they have Play Station, Wii and others, I have never been very good at games. It takes me some time to figure out what I suppose to do. Same with Runescape.

Here's some of my screen shots from the game; let's start at the beginning; I have to admit I was here for a while just trying to help Sir Vant slay the dragon so we could get out of the cellar.

Object of this portion of the game was to slay the dragon; I had to help Sir Vant with the dragon before we could get out of the cellar; my task was to get the meat out of Sir Vant's bag that had the sleeping drug in it. I then had to put it in the dragon's bowl.

As the dragon ate the food we had to put oiled rags on the pillars that supported the roof then set them on fire so that the roof collapsed.





Task accomplished:









Once I helped Sir Vant slay the dragon I then earned the right to get out of the cellar; but not so fast; before that could happen, I had to cut through the tree roots that were blocking the way. Although I was given a hatchett to do so; I was told that I needed to increase my wood cutting level from level 1 to level 2; I had to practice in order to increase my level. I went from level 1 to level 2 allowing me to cut down the tree roots.




I then earned the right to an Advisor; Roddeck is my advisor: Roddeck is available to me throughout the game to help me when I need advice.

I now earned a new soundtrack: Harmony; I have reached a Level 4; I have just advanced a wood cutting level.





Next part of the game was to select an objective; mine was Complete Cook's Assistant; it was now close to 7:00 and had to return back to SL for class.
